White Uniform is worn during special occasions, such as Independence Anniversary, Graduation and formal functions hosted by the school, ministry, government and Churches. The Japanese Flag on the right hand side (starboard side) of the Kiribati Flag can be seen in the background. The Japanese flag is hoisted as a courtesy sign in acknowledgment to the Government of Japan for establishing the center back in 1989 and the promising job opportunities to our fishermen until today.
